Software engineer · founder
More than half a lifetime building apps and sites.
Somehow, tools for writing keep coming back.
Latest: a Flutter notes app with its own Markdown editor, alongside eight years on Divi, now Divi 5. Earlier, engineering for a social network for bloggers, and Bangla typing tools.
Started programming in 2002, when most computers could not type Bangla, so the first projects were tools to fix that. That work still shapes what matters most: typing, editing, and how quickly an app responds.
Along the way: co-founding a company, running a small WordPress studio, and, since 2017, working remotely with teams in Europe and the US.

Helped rebuild Divi from the ground up as Divi 5: fast, lean, and a new take on page builders. Worked on the WooCommerce modules, asset pipeline and API docs.

Ran engineering at Moonrank for this social network for bloggers, which peaked at over 5 million unique visitors a month.

Dictionaries, spell-checkers and input tools, built when few programs supported Bangla, so people could write in their own language.
Built Background Mask & Pattern and Layers View for Divi 4, among other features. Brought WordPress core’s PHPUnit setup to Divi’s tests and rebuilt the CI for Divi 5, where the work goes on: new features, test coverage and code review.
Enterprise WordPress work at a German agency: a CRM project for Facebook, Stripe payments and a multisite relaunch, for high‑traffic sites on WordPress VIP and WP Engine.
A small WordPress studio grown out of freelance work: the Snowbird theme, later free on WordPress.org, the SuperPack plugins, and custom builds for clients abroad.
More than 50 social platforms for founders in over a dozen countries, in seven languages, plus the databases, load balancing and CDN that kept them fast.
Started making Bangla usable on everyday computers, with tools written in Visual Basic and portable enough to run on shared machines in cyber cafes.
